Deepblue’s Reefer container business, which first began in 2016, has since expanded significantly. Initially starting with a modest collection of 15 FEU (Forty-foot Equivalent Units) of refrigerated containers, our fleet has now burgeoned to over 35 TEUs and over 530 FEUs. From facilitating a singular trade route between Nhava Sheva and the UAE, our reach has magnificently extended across the Indian Subcontinent and the entirety of Asia, including China and the SEA ports as well as the Middle East and Egypt while also branching out to East Africa.
The evolution and growth of Deepblue’s Reefer Cargo division are the results of audacious endeavors, such as launching new trade lanes, augmenting the fleet size, and establishing a dedicated in-house technical maintenance crew. This team excels in providing essential support services, including 24/7 on-site technical assistance, meticulous tracking, and inventory management to ensure the efficient turnover of equipment. Their deep understanding of the commodities we handle, including their seasonal variations and specific temperature needs, has significantly contributed to our success.
Deepblue stands out among NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers) for consistently ensuring the availability of Reefer containers at various Inland Container Depot (ICD) locations throughout India. This strategy, driven by a strong emphasis on utilizing self-owned assets, affords Deepblue a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Deepblue Supply Chain and Solutions Pte. Ltd., is the dedicated arm of the Deepblue Company tasked with managing this specialized service, showcasing our commitment to excellence and innovation in the reefer logistics sector.
